Production Description
Polyacrylamide(PAM) is a water treatment agent that makes the tiny flocs held together into larger flocs.PAM polyacrylamide (AM) is a water-soluble linear polymeric polymer initiated by free radical polymerization of acrylamide (AM) monomer.It has good flocculation and can reduce the friction resistance between liquid.According to the ionic characteristics, it can be divided into four types: non-ionic, anionic, cationic and amphoteric.
Application
- Water treatment includes raw water treatment, sewage treatment and industrial water treatment.It can be used in combination with activated carbon in raw water treatment for coagulation and clarification of suspended particles in domestic water. Using organic flocculant acrylamide instead of inorganic flocculant, the water purification capacity can be increased by more than 20% even if the sedimentation tank is not reformed; In sewage treatment, polyacrylamide can increase the utilization rate of water reuse cycle and can also be used for sludge dewatering; It is used as an important formulation agent in industrial water treatment.
